It’s the freaking weekend, babies. We’re about to have us some fun.
You can obviously tell at this point we’re very much a visual learner, hence our love for all things photo. So, let’s share with you three photos from this past week that we thoroughly enjoy.
First up, the post earlier this week about worst college mascots prompted a slew of other worst mascot hopefuls. Here is Delta State University’s Fighting Okra.
A Fighting Okra is pretty awful. But, if your mascot is going to be a slimy vegetable, that is one badass looking vegetable. We’re fairly certain that okra could kick our effing ass. Look how angry he is! Fighting Okra stands in stark contrast to the very jubilant Banana Slug who is so excited about the prospect of studying. This okra wants to kill you, and we like that. Banana Slug still reigns supreme, in our humble opinion.
Next up, this photo popped up in our Twitter feed. What happens when you spend thousands of dollars on new furniture for your Welcome Center lobby?
Oh, that’s right. You spent a year justifying this purchase, planning carefully, picking just the right fabric to get maximum wear, matching color schemes and having an efficiency expert brought in to maximize your available space…to provide a place for this dude to nap. Yep. Amazing.
Last up, and we’re really excited to share this one with you. Feast your eyes on a Facebook profile picture from an incoming freshman that joined his college’s “Class of 2016” group.
This scares the ladies, bro. It doesn’t entice them. Trust us. TRUST US.
PS: You look really, really, really smart right now. I’m sure your college is overly thrilled with the decision to admit you. However, based on what we’re seeing, we’re not sure you’re bringing “A LOT” to the table.
